We are sixamazing communities - Alpine, Ramona, Valley Center, Julian, Fallbrook and Borrego Springs - ready to welcome you. In these mountains, valleys and deserts, you will find neither smog nor congestion...you will experience a simple, rural way of life, full of magical sunsets and the starriest skies.

The San Diego Backcountry Coalition

We are a 501c(6) comprising five distinct Chambers of Commerce - Alpine Mountain Empire Chamber of Commerce, Borrego Springs Chamber and Visitor Center, Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce, Julian Chamber of Commerce, Ramona Chamber of Commerce, and Valley Center Chamber of Commerce - and representing an area of more than 1,300 square miles in San Diego’s rugged and beautiful Backcountry. We believe that there is strength in numbers and we are working collectively to promote the Backcountry and its many assets and amenities.
